W2L and TMC Publisher — Privacy Supplement
Weight2Lose Management Inc. uses W2L and TMC Publisher to prepare, publish and verify content on its authorized Weight2Lose and Toronto Metabolic Clinic Facebook Pages and Instagram professional accounts. This is an internal business publishing tool. It does not offer public account registration.
Information used and why
The tool uses the connected business accounts’ identifiers, names and usernames; authorization permissions and access tokens; approved images, captions and publication schedules; and post identifiers, publication links, timestamps and technical delivery records. This information enables authorized publishing, confirms the correct destination, prevents duplicate posts and helps resolve delivery failures.
Administrators authorize access through Meta. The publisher does not store Facebook or Instagram passwords. Its current access does not include private messages, patient records, consultation details, advertising audiences or payment information.
Service providers and safeguards
Meta receives the content submitted for publication and processes information under its own policies. Google Cloud provides hosting, private storage, access-token protection and technical logging. Approved creative assets and business operating records may also be maintained in our access-controlled Google Workspace. Access tokens are kept in restricted secret storage and are excluded from creative files and operating documents. Service providers may process information in other countries.
Retention and your choices
We retain authorization information while the connection is needed, and publishing records as needed for operating, security and audit purposes. Authorized administrators can revoke the app’s access through Meta. Revocation stops further authorized use of that connection; it does not automatically remove posts already published on Facebook or Instagram.
To request access, correction, deletion or withdrawal relating to this tool, contact privacy@weight2lose.ca with the subject “Social publisher privacy” and identify the relevant account or record. Do not email passwords or access tokens. We will assess the request, verify authority where needed, and explain any applicable legal, security or record-retention limits. Published social content can also be managed using the relevant platform’s controls.
